Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yin Mao (ranked 1019 p4p, 1693 weight class) and Phil St. Georges (ranked 97 p4p, 154 weight class). Mao comes to the cage accompanied by HonestKey- Pass. Yin Mao had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Yin Mao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil St. Georges! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mao throws a lazy head kick and St. Georges counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mao! Mao is holding St. Georges down, trying to stall. St. Georges tries to advance to mount but can't. Mao definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. St. Georges trying to control the position but Mao is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee asks St. Georges politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. St. Georges prefers to stall for the moment though. Mao can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mao tries to improve position but can't. St. Georges working away. St. Georges is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mao has escaped the position, nice work there. St. Georges controlling the position from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mao struggling a bit here. Mao is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. St. Georges is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mao looks calm but he's in trouble here. St. Georges gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mao is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! St. Georges lets go of the hold and Mao can pop his arm back in it's socket.
