Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gavyn Mcintyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryota Fukado!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcintyre closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fukado's guard.
Mcintyre throwing strikes but missing.
Mcintyre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mcintyre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fukado on the ground.
Mcintyre missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Fukado trying to control the position here.
Mcintyre trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mcintyre is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fukado is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fukado has escaped and now he's on top!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcintyre had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fukado defends it easily.
Mcintyre working for submissions but it's allowed Fukado to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcintyre wants to improve his position but Fukado is controlling well.
Mcintyre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fukado pulls his head out easily.
Fukado seems to be working for a kimura but Mcintyre defends the submission attempt.
Fukado looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mcintyre looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Mcintyre is breathing heavily.
Fukado is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcintyre is just riding it out for now. Fukado eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
It looks like Fukado is going to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mcintyre wants to control but Fukado is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fukado looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mcintyre is looking to improve his position.
Fukado controlling the pace.

Fukado is looking to take a break and control but Mcintyre is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mcintyre is looking for a sweep. Fukado is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mcintyre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fukado pulls his head out easily.
Fukado drops an elbow to the side of Mcintyre's head.
Fukado has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mcintyre defend it? Fukado steps over the head and cranks it - Mcintyre is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fukado!
