Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Triston Manning (ranked 3821 p4p, 3867 weight class) and Khamzat Chimaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chimaev has chosen Khamzat Song as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Triston Manning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Khamzat Chimaev!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimaev moves out of range of the strikes.
Manning fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chimaev on the side of the head.
Chimaev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chimaev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Manning counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Manning.
Manning is pressed up against the cage. Chimaev has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Manning down to the mat. Manning avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Chimaev shoots for a double leg takedown but Manning sprawls well. He's pushed Chimaev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chimaev shoots in looking for a takedown. Manning tries to sprawl out of it but Chimaev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Manning manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chimaev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Manning's waist but Manning gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chimaev off to one side.

Chimaev thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Manning's head.

Chimaev maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Manning could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Chimaev has cracked it and Manning is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Chimaev!
