Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lysander Pollio (ranked 2394 p4p, 4540 weight class) and Krispen Chace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lysander Pollio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Krispen Chace!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chace scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Lysander Pollio has been cut.
Chace throws a series of punches but Pollio moves out of range.
A right-left combo lands from Chace.
Chace connects with a nice looking jab.
Pollio closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pollio lands in his opponent's guard.
Pollio lands a couple of digs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chace wants to stand and escape but Pollio is having none of it.
Pollio drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pollio jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Chace is looking to stand up but Pollio isn't so interested in that idea.
Pollio pushes down on Chace's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pollio is nestled in close to Chace, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
It looks like Krispen Chace has been cut.
Chace tries to kick Pollio off but Pollio keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Pollio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chace is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Pollio seems to be working for a kimura but Chace defends the submission attempt.
Pollio is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Pollio seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That has opened up Krispen Chace's cut even more.
Chace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pollio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chace is trying to stand up here but Pollio is controlling him well.

Krispen Chace's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Krispen Chace's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Lysander Pollio!
A very excited looking Lysander Pollio rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
