Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adam Iason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Nurlan Karim!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karim scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Adam Iason has been cut.
Karim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Iason just misses with a punch to the body.
Karim on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Iason throws a body shot but no joy.
Karim dodges the punch combination from Iason.
Karim is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iason wants to slow Karim down by chopping away at his legs.
Good leg kick by Karim.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Karim scoring well with a low kick there.
Karim rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Iason moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Iason.
A slapping leg kick lands for Karim.
Karim lands a nice shot that snaps Iason's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A solid body kick from Karim.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Karim throws a head kick that misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Iason misses its target.
Karim and Iason are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Karim throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Iason into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Karim knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nurlan Karim!
Nurlan Karim decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
