Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Cristóforo Carretero (ranked 5028 p4p, 840 weight class) and Ngozi Chai (ranked 465 p4p, 110 weight class). Carretero's entrance music is Sun by DVRKHOLD. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Cristóforo Carretero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ngozi Chai!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carretero at a distance.
Carretero bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Carretero on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Carretero avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Chai connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Carretero momentarily.
It looks like Cristóforo Carretero has been cut.

Chai throws a looping overhand right but Carretero ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chai! But no joy.
Carretero smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carretero throws a head kick but Chai moves out of range.
Carretero throws a looping overhand right but Chai ducks down to avoid it.

Carretero is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chai.
Carretero takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Carretero counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Chai misses with an uppercut
and Carretero counters with a right hand to the body.
Chai lands a nice leg kick that just misses Carretero's sensitive parts.
Chai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chai connects with a nice looking jab.
Carretero takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Carretero is rocked!
Cristóforo Carretero's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chai throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Oh Carretero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chai ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Carretero out cold! The fight is over!
