Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Tim Horton (ranked 1257 p4p, 22959 weight class) and Nick Peterson (ranked 163 p4p, 502 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Horton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Peterson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Horton. Horton obviously looking to wear him down.
Peterson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Peterson moves out of range of the strikes. Peterson appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Peterson misses with a hook. Horton ducked under it nicely. A low kick lands for Peterson.
Peterson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Horton scores with a nice body kick.
Horton misses with an uppercut
and Peterson counters with a good low kick that Horton was not able to check. Horton wants to land a leg kick but Peterson is out of range. Horton throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Horton cracks Peterson with a right hand to the side of the head. Peterson misses with a straight left. Horton throws a front kick aimed at Peterson's knee but Peterson avoids it well. Peterson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A cross from Peterson lands. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Horton chopping away at his opponent's legs.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Horton misses with a hook
and Peterson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Peterson ducks under a wild hook from Horton. Peterson feints a counter leg kick. Horton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Peterson counters with a nice uppercut. Horton scores with a shot to the body.
Horton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Horton feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Petersons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Horton is looking to slow Peterson down with leg kicks. Horton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Peterson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Peterson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Horton. Tim Horton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Horton scores with a leg kick.
Horton throws a solid leg kick but Peterson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Horton. Horton throws an overhand right that lands on Peterson's shoulder, as Peterson tries to avoid the shot. Horton misses with an uppercut. Peterson saw that one coming. Peterson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Horton looks to score with a jab to the body but Peterson is just out of range. A little jabbing left from Peterson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slow jab from Horton misses its intended target. Peterson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Horton just misses with a punch to the body.
Horton lands a nice shot that snaps Peterson's head back.
Nice straight punches there by Horton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Horton. Peterson throws the left hand but Horton avoids the punch easily. Horton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peterson.
Peterson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Horton tries a low kick but Peterson avoids it. Nice jab there from Horton. Horton moves into range and connects with a jab. Peterson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Horton is able to avoid easily. The fighters circling - Horton throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Peterson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Horton connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Horton dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Peterson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Horton. Horton is looking to counter the offense by Peterson and move into the clinch. Horton looks for the body kick but Peterson saw that one coming. Horton backing away here, and Peterson unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Horton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Good standup being displayed there by Horton as he connects with a hook. Horton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It seemed like Peterson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Horton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peterson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Peterson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Horton scores with the left hand. Peterson knows he should have avoided that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Peterson checks a leg kick nicely. A jab from Horton finds it's way through Peterson's defenses. Horton throws a nice inside leg kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Horton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Peterson tries a head kick but it misses.
Peterson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Horton loads up on a big right hand but Peterson slips the punch. Peterson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A nice inside leg kick there by Horton. That's going to slow Peterson down. Horton blocks a low kick nicely. Peterson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Peterson moves forwards but Horton connects with a nice, crisp jab. Horton just misses with a punch to the body.

Peterson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Horton can pounce on him.

Horton connects with a single shot there. Horton shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A jab from Horton finds it's way through Peterson's defenses. Horton throws a predictable looking body shot
and Peterson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A low kick from Horton misses and Peterson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Horton dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Horton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Peterson. An attempted straight right counter from Horton misses the target. Horton misses with a lunging right hand
and Peterson counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Horton goes down! Will Horton beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action!
 Horton is rocked! A low kick from Horton is predictable there and Peterson counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Horton to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Nick Peterson! A very excited looking Nick Peterson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
