Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ichigho Kurosaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 39 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Roberto Congo! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ben Hemmingworth and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurosaki missing with a left hand there. Congo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Congo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kurosaki on the side of the head. Kurosaki swinging wildly here.
Kurosaki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Congo. Kurosaki looks to land a body kick but Congo moved away. Kurosaki attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kurosaki is looking to chop away at Congo's legs. Kurosaki with a body punch. A glancing blow. A low kick lands for Kurosaki.
Kurosaki takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Congo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A leg kick checked by Kurosaki. Congo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kurosaki momentarily.

Congo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kurosaki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Congo scrambles back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Congo looks to land a left hand but Kurosaki moved out of range nicely. Congo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Kurosaki scores with a shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kurosaki looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kurosaki lands with a cross. Congo slips a jab from Kurosaki. Kurosaki drops his hands momentarily and Congo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kurosaki swats away the attempt to clinch by Congo. Kurosaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kurosaki misses with a right hand and Congo counters with a nice uppercut. Congo is looking to slow Kurosaki down with leg kicks. A nice leg kick lands there from Congo. Kurosaki throws a head kick that misses. Kurosaki lands with a right hand. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kurosaki loads up on a big right hand but Congo slips the punch. Kurosaki throws a head kick that misses. Congo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kurosaki misses with a body kick. Congo misses with a hook. Kurosaki ducked under it nicely. Congo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kurosaki takes a swing at Congo's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Congo with the inside leg kick. Congo throws a looping overhand right but Kurosaki ducks down to avoid it. Kurosaki lands with a good body shot. Congo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kurosaki has time to react. Congo cracks Kurosaki with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Kurosaki is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Kurosaki is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Kurosaki could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Roberto Congo! Roberto Congo tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
