Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Bartolomeu (ranked 24803 p4p, 2586 weight class) and Dante Drayman (ranked 566 p4p, 305 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renato Bartolomeu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dante Drayman!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Drayman, as that shot connected.
Bartolomeu moves in looking to clinch but Drayman pushes him off.

Bartolomeu walks into a left hand.
Bartolomeu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Renato Bartolomeu has been cut.
Drayman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Drayman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bartolomeu had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Drayman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Drayman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Drayman unleashes a big counter combination but Bartolomeu bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Dante Drayman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bartolomeu tries to clinch there but Drayman circles away.
A shot to the liver by Drayman. Beautiful body shot.
Bartolomeu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Drayman cracks Bartolomeu with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bartolomeu looks to land a combination but Drayman avoids it well.
Drayman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bartolomeu in his tracks.
Drayman feints with a jab and clips Bartolomeu right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Bartolomeu is sent crashing into the canvas and Drayman leaps in for the kill! Bartolomeu tries to get to his feet but Drayman is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Bartolomeu is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dante Drayman!
Dante Drayman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bloodbath MMA Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
