Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nikhil Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Luciano!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luciano takes the fight into the clinch.
Moon breaks the clinch.
Luciano fails with the takedown
enabling Moon to counter with a crisp jab.
Luciano doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Moon counters with a left to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Luciano to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Luciano tries to free his leg and advance position but Moon is retaining full guard.
Moon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Luciano trying to control but Moon is working from the bottom.
Luciano passes Moon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Luciano wants to control but Moon is keeping him busy.
Luciano might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Moon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Luciano throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Luciano throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Luciano maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Moon could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Luciano has cracked it and Moon is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Luciano!
