Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marek Hamsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Choker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Choker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Taking Over. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Hamsik lands an impressive looking overhand right. Choker doesn't seem phased though. Hamsik displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Choker gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Choker jumps guard but Hamsik stands there with Choker around his waist. Choker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Choker fails to pull guard.
Hamsik blocking some punches.
Choker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hamsik just stands there and leans against the cage. Marek Hamsik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Choker. Choker jumps into guard, dragging Hamsik to the mat.
Hamsik working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Choker is looking for a triangle here but Hamsik uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Hamsik tries for a kimura but Choker is defending well. Choker tries to improve position but can't. Hamsik wants to control but Choker is keeping him busy. Choker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hamsik's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Choker is looking for a sweep. Hamsik is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hamsik looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hamsik trying to control from half guard but Choker is working away. Choker is in trouble now - Hamsik has advanced to mount! Choker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hamsik is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hamsik extends the arm and Choker is forced to tap!
