Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elijah Highlander!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Ross misses.
Ross lands a lovely overhand right.
Ross darts in trying to clinch
and Highlander counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ross rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Highlander counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've been hearing reports that Ross has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Highlander takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Highlander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Highlander counters with a left hand that sends Ross to the canvas!

Ross is looking to stand back up but Highlander counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ross.
Oh Ross is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Highlander has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ross defend it? Highlander steps over the head and cranks it - Ross is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Highlander!
