Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chaos Kemppainen (ranked 1163 p4p, 1246 weight class) and Mike Maron (ranked 151 p4p, 164 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chaos Kemppainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Maron!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maron falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kemppainen misses with a low kick.
Maron throws a leg kick but Kemppainen sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Maron scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Maron throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kemppainen counters with a three punch combo that has Maron backing up. Maron nods at Kemppainen to acknowledge the strikes.
Maron misses with a series of wild punches.
Maron misses with a low kick as Kemppainen jumps back.

and Kemppainen counters with a good low kick that Maron was not able to check.
Kemppainen throws a hook but Maron avoids it easily.

Maron tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kemppainen was well out of range. Poor timing from Maron.

Maron has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kemppainen lands a big right hand that sends Maron crashing to the mat! Kemppainen stays standing though and waves Maron back to his feet!
Maron gets tackled into the cage by Kemppainen. Kemppainen maintains the clinch.
Maron is trying to break the clinch but Kemppainen is controlling him.

Kemppainen throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Kemppainen throws a looping overhand right but Maron ducks down to avoid it.
Maron swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kemppainen counters with a nice right hand that sends Maron toppling to the canvas! Maron scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kemppainen finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

No joy there for Kemppainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Maron on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Maron takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That has opened up Mike Maron's cut even more.

and Kemppainen counters with a nice leg kick.
Maron throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maron is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kemppainen rather than just go for the knockout.
Kemppainen lands a nice hook to Maron's body. Maron takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Maron looks winded!
Kemppainen lands a big uppercut and Maron crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Maron looks OK. Kemppainen waves Maron back to his feet!
Maron is still on wobbly legs! Can Kemppainen finish him?
Maron throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kemppainen counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Maron out cold! What a finish! Kemppainen is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
