Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chengji Li (ranked 3070 p4p, 3965 weight class) and Phishiji Zamu (ranked 343 p4p, 401 weight class). Li has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chengji Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Phishiji Zamu!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Li sprawls well. Li wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zamu gets slowly back to his feet.
Li attempts a counter takedown but Zamu avoids it well and moves away.
Zamu looks to clinch
and Li counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zamu can do anything to dispel that myth.
Zamu tries to roll over but Li keeps him under control.
Li scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Li seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
It looks like Phishiji Zamu has been cut.
Zamu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Li is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zamu's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Zamu is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Zamu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Li thows a huge punch but Zamu dodges it nicely.
Zamu wants to control the action here but instead Li manages to pass to full mount!
Li avoids the attempt from Zamu to control.
Li has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zamu's face.
Li with shots to the head and body - Zamu looks very uncomfortable down there.
The cut above Phishiji Zamu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Phishiji Zamu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chengji Li!
