Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zachery Malone (ranked 3505 p4p, 4101 weight class) and Korbin Hayes (ranked 189 p4p, 213 weight class). Zachery Malone has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zachery Malone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Korbin Hayes!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Malone. That did some damage!
A slapping leg kick lands for Hayes.
Malone scores with a one two! Hayes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hayes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Malone to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Malone content to stall in guard here.

Malone stands up and waves to Hayes to follow him.

Malone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hayes sprawls well initially but Malone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Malone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hayes is trying to defend but Malone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Malone seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hayes for as long as he can get away with.
Hayes tries to reverse the position but Malone maintains control.
Malone is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hayes can do to turn this around?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Malone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hayes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Malone has managed to get both his arms back between Hayes's legs - danger averted.
Malone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Malone continues to hold on tight.

Malone has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hayes to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Malone is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hayes pulls down on the head and he's put Malone to sleep! This one is all over!
