Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hank McCoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Biggie Smoke!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoke throws an off balance right hand
and McCoy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Biggie Smoke has been cut.
Biggie Smoke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smoke circles away from the clinch attempt
and Smoke counters with a single leg into guard. McCoy didn't expect that.
Smoke wants to control from the top but McCoy keeps moving.
McCoy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Smoke throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McCoy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and McCoy counters with a nice right hand that sends Smoke toppling to the canvas! Smoke scrambles and gets back to his feet - can McCoy finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smoke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCoy manages to avoid it.

McCoy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smoke sprawling to the canvas! Smoke rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McCoy finish him?!
