This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 5 losses; Maurice Lemaire!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Leighton darts in looking for a takedown but Lemaire gets double underhooks and turns Leighton into the ropes.

Leighton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lemaire for as long as he can get away with.
