Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Blackmon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ferocido Del Toro!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Del Toro.
Del Toro lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Del Toro throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Blackmon.
Blackmon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Del Toro fakes the leg kick and cracks Blackmon in the body.
That kick from Del Toro tenderised Blackmon's leg. Blackmon is trying to keep his angry face on.
No joy there for Blackmon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blackmon throws a leg kick that misses.
We've been told by Blackmon's head coaches at Fat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Del Toro jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Blackmon throws a shot from downtown. Del Toro moves away and avoids it.
Blackmon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blackmon jabs Del Toro right on the nose. Del Toro blinks but takes it well.
Del Toro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Del Toro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Blackmon.
Del Toro moves away from the strike by Blackmon.
Del Toro works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Del Toro uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Blackmon is rocked!
Del Toro darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Blackmon's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Del Toro before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ferocido Del Toro!
After winning the bout, Ferocido Del Toro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
