Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamison Hardin (ranked 3117 p4p, 3343 weight class) and Miko Laaksonen (ranked 361 p4p, 382 weight class). Hardin's entrance music is Memories (feat. Kid Cudi). A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laaksonen throws a series of punches but Hardin moves out of range.
Hardin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laaksonen manages to avoid it.
Laaksonen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Laaksonen has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Hardin avoids the body shot from Laaksonen.

Laaksonen let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Laaksonen throws out a counter right but Hardin avoids it with no problem.

Laaksonen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hardin momentarily.
Laaksonen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hardin scores with a one two! Laaksonen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Laaksonen glances at the clock... BAM! Hardin nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Laaksonen crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Laaksonen is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
