Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Sandman (ranked 2021 p4p, 4984 weight class) and Raiden Schroeder (ranked 239 p4p, 485 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raiden Schroeder!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schroeder moves away.
Schroeder swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Sandman looks to land a left hand but Schroeder moved out of range nicely.
Sandman swings widly with a right hand
and Schroeder counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sandman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sandman lands in his opponent's guard.
Sandman lands a couple of elbows.
Sandman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Schroeder is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sandman lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Schroeder quite badly. Schroeder pulls Sandman in close trying to recover. Sandman postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Schroeder on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Schroeder doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr Sandman!
