Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Samson (ranked 4531 p4p, 2450 weight class) and Helo Kacie Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samson comes to the cage accompanied by Face The Pain- STEMM. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Helo Kacie Jr enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Samson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Helo Kacie Jr!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Topper Green and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kacie Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Samson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kacie Jr somewhat.
Samson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Samson. No joy for Kacie Jr on that attempt.
Kacie Jr doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Samson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jack Samson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helo Kacie Jr.

Kacie Jr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Samson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Samson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Samson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kacie Jr clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Samson keeps control of the position as Kacie Jr tries to break free.

Samson is trying to stick to Kacie Jr's back but Kacie Jr is turning into Samson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Samson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kacie Jr.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Samson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Samson tries to get out of the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Samson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kacie Jr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kacie Jr feints and as Samson raises his hands in defense, Kacie Jr changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kacie Jr is in close to Samson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Samson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kacie Jr is one step ahead there.
Kacie Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kacie Jr working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Samson's head.

Samson is rocked!
Kacie Jr stands up over Samson, holding on to his feet. Kacie Jr throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Samson is out cold! Kacie Jr lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
