Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flash tries for a takedown but McGuinness sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McGuinness looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Flash! McGuinness sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! McGuinness punishing his opponent with strikes. McGuinness tries to control but Flash wriggling away. McGuinness stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. McGuinness doesn't succeed with the takedown and Flash counters with a head kick. Flash tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - McGuinness looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuinness doesn't succeed with the takedown and Flash counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McGuinness! McGuinness swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Flash wants to control the pace but McGuinness is squirming around nicely. McGuinness regains half guard. Flash thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McGuinness's head. McGuinness works his way to full guard. Good work. McGuinness has his foot on Flash's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flash works his way back into a safe position though. Flash wanted to stand there but McGuinness had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flash preventing the sweep. McGuinness wants to stand but Flash is controlling the position. Flash wants to stand but McGuinness has a closed guard, so he can't escape. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McGuinness holds on and takes a little breather. McGuinness working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flash doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flash manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. McGuinness doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGuinness trying to keep a closed guard but Flash is proving a slippery customer.
McGuinness is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Flash is aware though and is defending well. Flash avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Flash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGuinness. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McGuinness controls Flash momentarily but Flash frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGuinness wants to get back to his feet but Flash is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Flash trying to control the position from guard on top but McGuinness is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGuinness is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Flash defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam McGuinness dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McGuinness gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Flash has a takedown stuffed. McGuinness changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flash tries to avoid it but McGuinness manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flash to the ground. Flash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McGuinness drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McGuinness trying to control the position from guard on top but Flash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGuinness passes Flash's left leg - he's now in half guard. Flash wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuinness seems to be looking for submissions.
Flash is refusing to be controlled, as McGuinness sits in half guard. McGuinness content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. McGuinness seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Flash does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Flash lands with a nice combination. McGuinness backs away looking to recover. Flash throws a leg kick which misses McGuinness's front leg but catches the back leg as McGuinness tries to avoid it. McGuinness fails with the takedown and Flash counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam McGuinness. That's going to take a lot out of him. McGuinness jumps guard.
McGuinness is looking for a triangle but Flash pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. McGuinness trying to control the position.
Adam McGuinness overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. McGuinness lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Flash! McGuinness tries to control but Flash wriggling away. Flash is trying to reverse the position but instead McGuinness has taken his back - oops! McGuinness trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam McGuinness dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
McGuinness is trying hard to land a takedown here. Flash sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McGuinness takes a kick to the side of the head. A low kick from McGuinness is predictable there and Flash counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Flash is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. McGuinness has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Flash is working away from the top position though. Flash tries to stand but can't do so whilst McGuinness controls his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuinness wants to get back to full guard. McGuinness is trying to maintain the position but Flash is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGuinness tries to roll over but Flash keeps him under control. McGuinness actively working from the bottom here. McGuinness trying to control but Flash postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Flash circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McGuinness shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flash as he avoids it easily. Flash shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. McGuinness manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McGuinness misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Flash takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McGuinness throws some wild stikes that Flash manages to avoid easily.
McGuinness throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGuinness with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
McGuinness looking to control but Flash is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McGuinness sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! McGuinness fails to advance to Flash's back. Flash defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from McGuinness. McGuinness wants to control the pace but Flash is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Flash blocking the ground and pound. McGuinness working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Flash turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McGuinness off and cradles Flash's limp body as McGuinness celebrates with his corner.
