The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Boise moves into the clinch successfully.
De Boise lands a body punch in the clinch.
De Boise manages to break the clinch.
Cedric De Boise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Boise closes the distance and pushes Benton back into the cage.
De Boise breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
De Boise gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
De Boise trying to stand up but can't free himself from Benton's guard.
Benton is trying to control the position but De Boise postures up.
Benton is working an open guard so De Boise takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
De Boise drives through and clinches with Benton against the cage.
De Boise has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Benton clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Benton is really stuck here.
De Boise seems like he's trying to stand.

De Boise has the hooks in. Benton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
De Boise gets to his feet and calls for his opponent to stand and trade! Heeeere we go!
De Boise instigates a clinch.
Benton is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Benton jumps guard and drags De Boise to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
De Boise wants to get up but he can't break Benton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Benton is trying to control the position but De Boise postures up.
Benton is looking for a triangle but De Boise pushes his legs off easily.
De Boise stands up and waves to Benton to follow him.
De Boise moves into the clinch successfully.

De Boise throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bentons head.
De Boise lands a left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
De Boise throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Benton tries to score a body lock takedown but De Boise shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Benton gets control of De Boise's arms and successfully pulls guard. Benton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
De Boise has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Benton is proving hard to escape from.

Benton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Benton is looking for a kimura but De Boise is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Benton to get the leverage.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Benton stops De Boise from getting back to his feet.
Benton seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. De Boise is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
