Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jefke Daems (ranked 4924 p4p, 2746 weight class) and Hannibal Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daems comes to the cage accompanied by jefke is getrouwd. Hannibal Jim acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jefke Daems! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hannibal Jim! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daems shoots and misses and Jim counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A momentary lapse in concentration from Daems enables Jim to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Daems manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Daems keeping moving, preventing Jim from controlling successfully. Jim chips away with some ground and pound. Daems keeping moving, preventing Jim from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daems is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jim is controlling him. Daems looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jim is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Daems keeping moving, preventing Jim from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Daems clinches. Daems lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Daems successfully pulls guard.
Jim postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jim wants to stand but Daems has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Daems has his feet on Jim's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Daems bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jim's head. Jim fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Daems avoids it really well and circles away. Jim jabs at Daems's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daems but Daems pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jim fails in his attempt to clinch. Jim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Daems moves into the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Daems.
Daems is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Daems pulls Jim into guard.
Daems tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jim trying to control the position from guard on top but Daems is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jim would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Daems is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jim is aware though and is defending well. Jim wanted to stand there but Daems had control of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jim is in close to Daems's body, working some short punches and elbows. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jim wants to get up but he can't break Daems's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jim is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jefke Daems dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Jim closes the distance but Daems moves to the side and Daems counters with a two punch combo. Jim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daems pinned against the cage. Daems gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. As Jim looks to move away, Daems throws a big counter combo but Jim just gets out of the way. Jim closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Daems manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jim keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daems has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jim uses from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jim prevents Daems from getting back to his feet. Daems keeping moving, preventing Jim from controlling successfully. Daems looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jim is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jim throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jim looking to sit in guard and control but Daems gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jim looking to control.
Daems with a flurry of punches that miss. Jim looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Daems has picked Jim up and slammed him! Jim can't keep hold of the triangle and Daems manages to pass to side control! Jim is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daems stands up. Daems fails to land the takedown. Jim dives in for a single leg takedown but Daems sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jim fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jefke Daems has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hannibal Jim. Daems fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jim tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Daems throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jim. Jim lands a jab-cross combination. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Daems fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Jim.
Hannibal Jim seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Daems manages to escape and get back to his feet! Jim will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Daems with a poor takedown and Jim counters with a one-two to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jim goes for a double leg but Daems avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daems continues to drive forward. Jim with a lazy takedown attempt and Daems counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daems decides to pull guard. Jim throws a big right hand that misses. Jim is stalling in the full guard. Daems is pulling down on Jim's head to control his posture. Jim has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Daems is proving hard to escape from. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jefke Daems dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Jim throws a low kick but Daems avoids it. Daems is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jim can do to turn this around? Daems tries to sprawl but Jim drives through with a takedown into half guard. Daems is pressing down on Jim's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jim trying to control but Daems is working from the bottom. Jim pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Daems is keeping the position for now. Jim lands a couple of elbows. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jim is trying to push Daems away but Daems has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Daems has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jim avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jefke Daems. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jim has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Daems after a bit of a struggle. Jim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Daems fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Daems throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jim's waist but Jim gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Daems off to one side. Jim tries to clinch but Daems is having none of it. Daems misses with a two punch combination.
Jim drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jim goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Daems rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jim's guard! Nice work there by Daems!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jim throws his legs up looking for a submission but Daems uses it to pass to side control.
Jim is trying to improve his position. Daems throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Daems wants to control but Jim is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Daems working away. Daems thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jim looking for a sweep but Daems has passed into full mount! Oh no! Jim is looking to improve his position but Daems isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Jefke Daems showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daems, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
