Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zhun Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Agung Soeharto!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li shoots for a takedown but Soeharto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Soeharto throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Li counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Li looking to pass the guard.
Li scoring with punches to the head and body.
Li is pushing down on Soeharto's leg trying to pass to half guard. Soeharto is fighting to maintain full guard but Li has managed to sneak the leg through.
Li is trying to control. Soeharto wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Soeharto is trying to stand up here but Li is controlling him well.
Li is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soeharto tries to kick Li off but Li keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Li lands strikes from half guard.
Li throwing shots but Soeharto is blocking nicely.
Soeharto keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Li wants to pass to mount but Soeharto is defending the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Li content to control rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Soeharto for as long as he can get away with.
Soeharto pushes Li off looking to stand but Li dives back in and keeps control.
Li will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Soeharto on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Li winds up and cracks Soeharto with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Li looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Soeharto with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Li looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Soeharto is staying active underneath Li, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Soeharto is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Li scores with a couple of nice shots.

Li is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Soeharto is hurt! He's hurt bad - Li fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Soeharto from any more punishment! Congratulations to Li! Great finish!
