Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jude Donovan (ranked 2679 p4p, 3188 weight class) and Brandon Jackson (ranked 295 p4p, 343 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jude Donovan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donovan misses with a wild body shot.
Jackson looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Donovan pushes him off.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Donovan circles away.
Donovan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Donovan.
Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crunch! Jackson slams his shin into Donovan's torso.
Donovan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jackson slips under a jab.
Donovan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Donovan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Donovan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Donovan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Donovan throws an elbow but Jackson slips to the side and avoids it well.
Donovan prevents Jackson from escaping the position.
Donovan looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jackson is avoiding damage well.
Donovan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jackson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Jackson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Donovan has just dragged him back down to the mat.
