Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Balink Tarlah (ranked 2223 p4p, 22718 weight class) and Ethan Campbell (ranked 274 p4p, 516 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 36 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Ethan Campbell! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campbell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tarlah looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tarlah scoring with some ground and pound. Campbell being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tarlah has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarlah postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Tarlah looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Campbell is looking for a triangle but Tarlah pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Campbell trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Campbell moves in looking to clinch but Tarlah pushes him off. Tarlah closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Campbell tries to kick Tarlah off but Tarlah keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Still in half guard, Tarlah seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell is trying to control but Tarlah manages to pass to mount!
Tarlah controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tarlah cracks Campbell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tarlah with a couple of short strikes. Tarlah lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Campbell hang on? Campbell is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tarlah sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tarlah seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Campbell for as long as he can get away with. Tarlah connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice elbow there by Tarlah. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tarlah controlling from the full mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Balink Tarlah dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. A shot to the liver by Tarlah. Beautiful body shot. Tarlah closes the distance and clinches. Campbell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tarlah gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Campbell regains guard.
Tarlah controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Campbell is looking to sweep but instead, Tarlah has passed into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tarlah in particular looking to stall. Tarlah moves into full mount! Campbell won't be happy about that!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarlah controlling from mount. Balink Tarlah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Campbell can't escape the position.
Campbell keeps trying to improve his position. Tarlah has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tarlah dominating with strikes here. Tarlah tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell is bucking up trying to escape but Tarlah cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Tarlah controlling the pace for now. Campbell takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Balink Tarlah dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Campbell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tarlah controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tarlah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Campbell can do to turn this around? Tarlah scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Tarlah scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tarlah controlling from the top position. This is a sustained period of stalling by Tarlah.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ethan Campbell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Campbell gets caught napping as Tarlah dives in and scores a takedown. Campbell manages to retain guard. Campbell is wriggling around but Tarlah manages to pass to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tarlah takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarlah looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Campbell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Tarlah perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Campbell taking some punishment here, with Tarlah in his half guard. Tarlah slows the pace down in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Campbell tries to roll over but Tarlah keeps him under control. Campbell taking some punishment here, with Tarlah in his half guard. Campbell misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Tarlah keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Campbell tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tarlah has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Tarlah scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ethan Campbell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tarlah content just to control the position here.
And that's the end of the fight! Balink Tarlah showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tarlah has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
