Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hezekiah Mcneil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edgar John!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcneil misses with a right hand
and John makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Mcneil as he connects with a hook.
Mcneil throws a body shot but no joy.
A nice side step and John releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Jab, jab by Mcneil - just one landing.
John uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mcneil.
Mcneil with a hook.
John takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mcneil tries to bum rush John with a series of wild strikes but John uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As Mcneil backs off John throws a huge counter combo but Mcneil manages to avoid it all.
Mcneil scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcneil connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed John momentarily.
John drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mcneil seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mcneil throws a shot to the body.
Mcneil throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jab, jab by Mcneil - just one landing.
John is rocked!
Mcneil drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of John's head, knocking him out cold! Mcneil is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hezekiah Mcneil!
Hezekiah Mcneil took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Bloodbath MMA Clothing for their support in the buildup to the fight.
