Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Modris Murdermanis (ranked 3462 p4p, 5126 weight class) and Jefke Daems (ranked 359 p4p, 465 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Daems's choice of entrance music: jefke is getrouwd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Modris Murdermanis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jefke Daems!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdermanis misses with a body kick.
Murdermanis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daems's waist but Daems gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Murdermanis off to one side.
Daems has taken the fight to the clinch.
Daems ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daems no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Daems shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Murdermanis sprawls well. Murdermanis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Daems gets slowly back to his feet.

It looked like Murdermanis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

A nice side step and Daems releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

A close second round but Jefke Daems will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Murdermanis throws a right hand that Daems ducks under and follows up with a left that Daems also avoids with ease.
Daems changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murdermanis tries to avoid it but Daems manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murdermanis to the ground. Murdermanis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Murdermanis wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Murdermanis can't find room to land a body shot as Daems controls the action.
Daems misses with a knee to the head.
Daems jumps guard and drags Murdermanis to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
