Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Garrett Liu!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Liu duly obliges.
Liu moves into the clinch successfully.
Liu lands a shoulder strike.
Li prevents a takedown attempt there.
Liu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Li avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Li gets tackled into the cage by Liu. Liu maintains the clinch.
Liu tries to score a body lock takedown but Li shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Liu tries to land a knee to the head but Li blocks with his arms.
Liu throws a knee to the head but misses.
Li effectively controlling the action here.
Liu manages to break the clinch.
Liu wants to clinch.
Liu shoots in but Li avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fu Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garrett Liu.

Liu tries to clinch but Li moves away
and Li counters with a shoot takedown. Liu fights it but they end up in guard.
Li wants to control from the top but Liu keeps moving.

Li stands up over Liu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee asks Li politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Li prefers to stall for the moment though.

Li seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Liu for as long as he can get away with.
Li has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Li takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Li breaks from Liu's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Li landing strikes from the mount and Liu is in trouble!
Liu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Li lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Liu is rocked!
Li is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Liu goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Li!
