Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phisi Sisi (ranked 4057 p4p, 4561 weight class) and Adan Blair (ranked 300 p4p, 315 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Phisi Sisi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Blair!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blair misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sisi tries a head kick but it misses.
Blair thuds his right hand into Sisi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Blair tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sisi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blair tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blair throws a wild body kick that Sisi sees coming a mile off.
Blair closes the distance and clinches up with Sisi, looking for a takedown. Blair pushes Sisi against the cage but Sisi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sisi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sisi goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Blair turns into him and now he's in Sisi's guard.

Sisi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sisi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blair's head.

Sisi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Blair showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sisi.
The fight stays on the outside here - Blair looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Blair uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sisi thows a huge punch but Blair dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sisi in particular looking to stall.

Sisi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blair with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Phisi Sisi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sisi tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Blair shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sisi as he avoids it easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
