Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colby Canvana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamren Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Canvana.
Rivera misses with a head kick.
Rivera scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Canvana is defended easily by Rivera.
Canvana fails with the takedown.
Rivera doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colby Canvana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rivera cracks Canvana with a good jab.
Canvana tries to clinch
and Rivera counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rivera throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Canvana appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Canvana tries to clinch but Rivera moves away
and Rivera counters with a nice body shot.

and Rivera counters with a stiff right hand.
Rivera lands a big right hand that sends Canvana crashing to the mat! Rivera stays standing though and waves Canvana back to his feet!
Canvana is rocked!
Rivera cracks a nice hook into Canvana's ribs.
Oh Canvana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rivera lands with a big right hook that stumbles Canvana - he's out on his feet here! Rivera follows up with another monster hook that separates Canvana from consciousness! Canvana falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rivera stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kamren Rivera!
During a confident post fight interview, Kamren Rivera thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
