Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clarence Boston (ranked 301 p4p, 936 weight class) and Kaven May Jr (ranked 30 p4p, 89 weight class). May Jr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: HonestKey- Self Discovery. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Boston moves out of range as May Jr throws a body kick.

May Jr tries to counter by closing the distance.

Boston stuffs the takedown attempt from May Jr. May Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Boston takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Boston throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
May Jr tries to counter with a clinch but Boston shakes him off and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

May Jr throws a lazy right hand but Boston sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
May Jr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boston takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Boston connects with a good right hand that stumbles May Jr. May Jr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Kaven May Jr has been cut.
May Jr scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
May Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
May Jr slips a straight right by Boston.
Boston throws a combination but it was largely blocked by May Jr.

Boston throws a hook to the side of May Jr's head but May Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - May Jr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boston was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

and May Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
May Jr moves into range and clinches up with Boston.
Boston dodges an elbow strike from May Jr.
May Jr pulls guard effortlessly.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
May Jr is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Boston stands and throws May Jr's legs to the side, diving into side control.

May Jr is trying to maintain the position but Boston is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boston is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
May Jr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boston's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boston's back!

May Jr is cranking Boston's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Boston! He's tightened the choke and Boston is tapping out!
