Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaryan Bhardwaj (ranked 3716 p4p, 4568 weight class) and Kazuo Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura has chosen Afloria Theme as his entrance music. Kazuo Nakamura has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Aaryan Bhardwaj's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aaryan Bhardwaj! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuo Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura misses with a combination
and Bhardwaj counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Bhardwaj misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bhardwaj slips a jab and a cross from Nakamura.
Bhardwaj feinted with a counter takedown. Nakamura throws a body kick that misses. Nakamura tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bhardwaj feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bhardwaj tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bhardwaj somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bhardwaj bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bhardwaj wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nakamura, who protects the arm well. Bhardwaj is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nakamura knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nakamura throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura is looking to regain half guard here but Bhardwaj keeps moving and retains side control. Bhardwaj working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bhardwaj creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nakamura sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bhardwaj thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bhardwaj goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nakamura has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bhardwaj but great work by Nakamura.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bhardwaj gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bhardwaj is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Nakamura tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Bhardwaj wants to improve his position but Nakamura is controlling well.
Nakamura decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Nakamura looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nakamura throws a big shot that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nakamura throws a sloppy head kick and Bhardwaj moves out of range easily. Bhardwaj darts in looking for a takedown but Nakamura gets double underhooks and turns Bhardwaj into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaryan Bhardwaj. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nakamura manages to break the clinch.
Nakamura misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bhardwaj.
Nakamura looking to score a takedown here. Bhardwaj is defending well but Nakamura drives through and ends up in Bhardwaj's guard. Nakamura advances to half guard. Nakamura wants to work for an arm triangle but Bhardwaj is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nakamura looks winded! Bhardwaj works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nakamura tries to free his leg and advance position but Bhardwaj is retaining full guard. Bhardwaj is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kazuo Nakamura dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Nakamura slaps away a takedown attempt from Bhardwaj, before circling back to the center of the mat. A slow jab from Nakamura misses its intended target. Bhardwaj shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nakamura as he avoids it easily. Bhardwaj shoots in looking for a takedown but Nakamura manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bhardwaj's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nakamura is looking for the big counter here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaryan Bhardwaj. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nakamura fakes the leg kick and cracks Bhardwaj in the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura misses with a head kick.

Nakamura manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nakamura tries to counter by closing the distance.

Bhardwaj fails with a takedown attempt. Nakamura lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bhardwaj tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nakamura defends well and Bhardwaj ends up having to push Nakamura into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bhardwaj is looking for a takedown. Nakamura breaks the clinch.
Aaryan Bhardwaj is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bhardwaj blocks a head kick by Nakamura.
Bhardwaj shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nakamura as he jumps to the side. Nakamura shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bhardwaj napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bhardwaj explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bhardwaj closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nakamura circles away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sloppy strikes from Nakamura. Those never looked like landing. Nakamura throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bhardwaj. Nakamura waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bhardwaj. Kazuo Nakamura seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nakamura lands with a shot to the body. Bhardwaj dodges the punch combination from Nakamura.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bhardwaj feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Nakamura looking for a sweep. Not yet Nakamura, not yet. This has been an exciting period of action! Nakamura not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nakamura keeping moving, preventing Bhardwaj from controlling successfully. Nakamura controls Bhardwaj momentarily but Bhardwaj frees himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bhardwaj postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kazuo Nakamura showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Bhardwaj tries for a takedown but Nakamura sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Nakamura.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nakamura lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bhardwaj has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bhardwaj and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Bhardwaj fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nakamura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bhardwaj slips a straight right by Nakamura. Nakamura clinches.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nakamura gets control of Bhardwaj's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nakamura will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bhardwaj wants to pass the guard but Nakamura is keeping the position. Nakamura throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Bhardwaj drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nakamura looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nakamura looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nakamura! Nakamura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bhardwaj keeps working. Kazuo Nakamura has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bhardwaj is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Nakamura trying to control the position but Bhardwaj is working away. Bhardwaj looks to move to half guard but instead Nakamura has passed into mount! Damn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakamura trying to control but Bhardwaj is having none of it. Nakamura sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Bhardwaj tries to reverse the position but Nakamura maintains control. Bhardwaj is working hard here to advance position. Nakamura manages to capitalize on a mistake by Bhardwaj to take his back! Bhardwaj is in bad spot here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Will Nakamura go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Bhardwaj is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Nakamura wants to control but Bhardwaj is keeping busy. Aaryan Bhardwaj has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! You can see the frustration on Bhardwaj's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
What can Bhardwaj do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Kazuo Nakamura is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nakamura is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
And that's the end of the fight! Kazuo Nakamura comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nakamura has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Aaryan Bhardwaj was interviewed post fight and said 'will be back better'.
