Jerome tries to clinch but Gardener is having none of it.
Gardener has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jerome lands a right hand.
Jerome prevents the takedown attempt.
Jerome lands a nice uppercut.
Gardener avoids the elbow strike from Jerome, against the cage.
Jerome lands a nice shot to the body.
Gardener is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jerome gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jerome manages to break the clinch.
Gardener looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jerome has closed the distance and engaged Gardener in a clinch.

Jerome swats away the attempt to clinch by Gardener.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gardener looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jerome keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jaruis Jerome has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Gardener.
Jerome throws a series of punches but Gardener moves out of range.
Gardener goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

No joy there for Jerome, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jerome connects with a looping right hand.
Jerome lands with a nice combination. Gardener backs away looking to recover.
Gardener looks gassed!
Jerome lands with a big left! Gardener is wobbled badly! Jerome comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Gardener to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
