Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aron Mullen (ranked 5166 p4p, 25218 weight class) and Jordan Walters (ranked 469 p4p, 503 weight class). Walters has chosen Down Under as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aron Mullen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jordan Walters!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mullen moves into the clinch successfully.
Mullen takes an elbow to the forehead.
Mullen tries to pull guard but Walters holds him up against the cage and eventually Mullen drops back down to his feet.
Mullen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Walters walks away with a smile on his face. Mullen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mullen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mullen misses with a wild body shot.
A combination from Mullen does no damage.
Walters dives in for a single leg takedown but Mullen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Walters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mullen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walters shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walters wants to clinch.
Mullen thinks about countering with a body kick.

Walters fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mullen, pushing him back against the cage.

Mullen jumps guard but Walters stands there with Mullen around his waist. Mullen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mullen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walters is aware though and is defending well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Walters wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mullen keeps working.
Mullen is looking for a sweep.

Walters tries for a kimura but Mullen is defending well.
Mullen manages to get back to half guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mullen is pressing down on Walters's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Walters postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mullen works over Walters's head and body with a nice combination.

Walters shoots for a double leg takedown but Mullen sprawls well. He's pushed Walters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Walters tries to close the distance and clinch but Mullen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Walters has a takedown stuffed.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Walters.
Mullen fails to land the takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mullen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Walters throws a big counter head kick but Mullen avoids it with no problem.

Mullen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mullen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walters's waist but Walters gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mullen off to one side.
Mullen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A nice right hand lands inside from Walters.
