Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Reyes (ranked 2530 p4p, 4503 weight class) and Clark Luna (ranked 234 p4p, 372 weight class). Reyes comes into the arena with Young, Wild and Free blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freddy Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Clark Luna!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes connects with a body shot.
Luna walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Luna throws a lazy head kick
and Reyes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Reyes clobbers Luna with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Luna throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Reyes counters with a right hand to the body.
A cross from Reyes lands.
Luna misses with a jab to the body
enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab.
Luna thows a leg kick but Reyes checks it
and Reyes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Luna throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reyes counters with a left and a right that stings Luna.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reyes digs a good body shot into Luna's ribs.
Luna throws a body kick that misses
and Reyes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Reyes connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Luna with a poor takedown
and Reyes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Luna looks winded!
Luna doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Reyes counters with a straight right hand.
Luna is rocked!
Reyes is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reyes lands with a straight right. Luna didn't see that one coming.
Luna is still on wobbly legs! Can Reyes finish him?
Reyes with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Luna looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Reyes with a nice cross.
BOOM! Reyes lands a beautiful left hook that drops Luna. Luna tries to recover but Reyes is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Luna lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freddy Reyes!
