Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Asher Ax (ranked 3869 p4p, 4162 weight class) and Ivan Bernados (ranked 0 p4p, 302 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asher Ax!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Bernados!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernados bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ax tries to improve position but can't.
Bernados trying to control the action but Ax is working from the bottom.
Bernados tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bernados has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bernados goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ax rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bernados's guard! Nice work there by Ax!

Ax wants to pass the guard but Bernados is keeping the position.

Ax is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bernados controls Ax momentarily but Ax frees himself.

Bernados is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ax stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bernados swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ax trying to control the position from guard on top but Bernados is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bernados misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bernados shoots in for a double leg but Ax sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ax clinches up against the cage.
Bernados wants a takedown but no success here.
Asher Ax has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Bernados.
Bernados drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ax gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bernados is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ax to keep the fight standing.
Ax gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bernados regains guard.
Bernados keeping moving, preventing Ax from controlling successfully.
Ax throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bernados works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Ax shoots in and bounces Bernados off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Ax stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Bernados has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Ax manages to get his head free but now Bernados has transitioned to an armbar! Ax grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Bernados! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
