Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Boone (ranked 3883 p4p, 2770 weight class) and Roman Shopulov (ranked 202 p4p, 0 weight class). Boone comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes the Boom. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Boone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roman Shopulov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shopulov thows a leg kick but Boone checks it
and Boone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boone.
Shopulov is looking to stand back up but Boone counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Shopulov.
Shopulov wants to get back to his feet.
Boone stalling.
Boone has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shopulov is looking to get back to full guard here but Boone has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boone has hold of Shopulov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shopulov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Boone cranks the arm and Shopulov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shopulov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ben Boone!
Ben Boone decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
