Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Rivers (ranked 556 p4p, 1893 weight class) and Benjamin Walton (ranked 75 p4p, 236 weight class). Rivers comes to the cage accompanied by Gojira - Sphinx. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Rivers! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Benjamin Walton! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walton looks to throw the jab but Rivers is out of range. Walton just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromRivers. Walton throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Sean Rivers has been cut. Rivers takes a shot right to the bread basket. Walton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looked like Rivers was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Walton. Walton throws a hook to the side of Rivers's head but Rivers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A little feinted left hand from Rivers on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
