Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tuskan Raider (ranked 3808 p4p, 4499 weight class) and Jaydan Galloway (ranked 0 p4p, 425 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Raider might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. Galloway is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 28 by Zach Bryan. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaydan Galloway!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raider throws a leg kick but Galloway sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Raider throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Raider drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Galloway counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Galloway.
Raider utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Galloway is pushing down on Raider's leg trying to pass to half guard. Raider is fighting to maintain full guard but Galloway has managed to sneak the leg through.
Galloway has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Raider defend it? Galloway steps over the head and cranks it - Raider is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Galloway!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jaydan Galloway!
Jaydan Galloway took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
In defeat, Tuskan Raider stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back in greater numbers'.
