And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Zangiev misses with a takedown attempt - Maia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zangiev shoots for a double leg takedown but Maia sprawls well. He's pushed Zangiev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Maia lands with a nice combination. Zangiev backs away looking to recover.
Maia connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Zangiev! He's out on his feet! Maia rushes in and drops Zangiev with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Damien Maia!
