Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tahboule Alawi (ranked 1729 p4p, 1027 weight class) and Arthur Pugsley (ranked 155 p4p, 94 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alawi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Ruler of Everything. Tahboule Alawi had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tahboule Alawi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Pugsley!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugsley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Alawi's half guard.
Pugsley is keen to just control but Alawi is a slippery customer.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pugsley working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tahboule Alawi.
