This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 34 wins and 57 losses; Olaf Snowstrinski! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 46 wins and 26 losses; Chad Strdoza! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Snowstrinski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Strdoza pinned against the ropes. Strdoza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Strdoza wants to counter the offense by Snowstrinski and move into the clinch position. Strdoza keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Snowstrinski with a poor takedown and Strdoza counters by moving into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olaf Snowstrinski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Strdoza is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
