Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Maximo Butler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Suarez!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Butler cracks Suarez with an open hand slap.
Butler pushes Suarez up against the cage in a clinch.
Butler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Butler fails with the takedown.
Suarez shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Butler kicks Suarez off and gets back to his feet.

Suarez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Butler is not content to let Suarez control the position.
Suarez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Butler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Suarez has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Butler lands with a hook. Suarez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Butler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Suarez sprawls well. Suarez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Butler gets slowly back to his feet.

Suarez is trying to drag Butler to the mat but Butler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Butler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
