Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 3813 p4p, 3847 weight class) and Anthony Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Thomas! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Snow looks to land a combination but Thomas avoids it well. Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snow as he avoids it easily. Thomas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Left hook, right uppercut from Snow. Snow scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Snow lands a jab to Thomas's midsection. Thomas fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Thomas feints and as Snow raises his hands in defense, Thomas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thomas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Snow is working an open guard so Thomas takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Thomas misses with a takedown attempt and Snow counters with a nice uppercut. Jon Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Thomas. Snow jabs at Thomas's body. Snow connects with a body shot. Snow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow throws a right and a left that Thomas avoids nicely. Thomas darts in looking for a takedown but Snow gets double underhooks and turns Thomas into the cage. Snow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thomas throws a nice inside leg kick. Thomas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Snow tries to kick Thomas off but Thomas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Snow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thomas on the ground. Snow is breathing heavily. Thomas sitting and controlling from the half guard. Thomas escapes and gets back to his feet. Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Thomas advances position into side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thomas controlling the position. Thomas works to advance to full mount. Snow defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Thomas looking to control and managing it successfully. BOOM! Thomas connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Thomas controlling the position easily from mount. Thomas is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Snow can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Thomas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Thomas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Thomas dominating with strikes here. Thomas controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thomas throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Snow has his hands clasped together but Thomas breaks the hold and Snow is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Thomas!
