Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Beair (ranked 25263 p4p, 2691 weight class) and William Gallagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beair comes into the arena with We Will Rock You blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, William Gallagher!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallagher throws a head kick that misses.
Gallagher thumps Beair with a low kick.
Nice shot by Beair.
Beair clinches up against the cage.
Gallagher tries to circle away but Beair has him pinned against the cage.
Gallagher is trying to break free.
Beair tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gallagher just stands there and leans against the cage.
Beair breaks from the clinch.
Beair fails with the takedown.
Beair tries a head kick but it misses.
Gallagher unleashes a big counter combination but Beair bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Gallagher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Beair wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gallagher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gallagher throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Beair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gallagher unleashes a big counter combination but Beair bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Gallagher tries to bum rush Beair with a series of wild strikes but Beair uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beair tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gallagher swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cody Beair. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Beair fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gallagher manages to avoid it.
Beair looks to throw the jab but Gallagher is out of range.
Gallagher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gallagher lands a head kick!
Gallagher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beair swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Beair rushes Gallagher and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Beair manages to pull guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Beair is on top in guard.
Gallagher trying to keep a closed guard but Beair is proving a slippery customer.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Beair's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Beair stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gallagher swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gallagher is working an open guard so Beair takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Gallagher lands a brutal head kick. Beair looks out on his feet and Gallagher throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). William Gallagher!
