And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Weichung Li!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li slaps away a takedown attempt from Habibi Dei, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And Li tries to counter it with a takedown but Habibi Dei pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Habibi Dei looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Li fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Habibi Dei to the ground. Li is now in Habibi Dei's guard.
Li controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Li is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Habibi Dei has momentary wrist control but Li slips an elbow through the middle.
It looks like Charles Flute Habibi Dei has been cut.
Li content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Habibi Dei covers up, he's hurt! Li keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Li and the ref steps in to end the fight! Li can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
