Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rishi Webster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manuel Barren!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Barren's half guard.
Barren manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Webster keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Barren looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Webster fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Barren escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Webster shoots in and bounces Barren off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Webster thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Webster drops back, looking for a kneebar! Barren looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Barren looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Barren!
Barren really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Webster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Webster is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Webster is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Barren pulls his head out easily.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Webster tries to get to full guard but Barren has control of the leg.
Webster has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Barren. Oh but Webster has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Barren goes limp - he's gone! Webster jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
