Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordyn Conley (ranked 4132 p4p, 2308 weight class) and Marcelo Livingston (ranked 403 p4p, 262 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Jordyn Conley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcelo Livingston! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Livingston tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Conley defends well and Livingston ends up having to push Conley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Conley seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A low kick from Conley is predictable there and Livingston counters with a single leg into guard. Conley didn't expect that. Conley controls Livingston momentarily but Livingston frees himself. Livingston seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Conley keeping moving, preventing Livingston from controlling successfully. Livingston lands a couple of elbows. Livingston throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Livingston missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Livingston not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Conley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Livingston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Conley keeps working. Livingston looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Conley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Livingston seems to be working for a kimura but Conley defends the submission attempt. Livingston slips a nice elbow through Conley's hands, connecting with Conley's forehead. Livingston works his way into side control. Livingston thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Livingston has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Livingston working the ground and pound. Livingston lands a decent elbow from side control. Livingston is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Conley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Conley is looking to regain half guard here but Livingston keeps moving and retains side control. Livingston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Conley keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Livingston wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Conley, who protects the arm well. Livingston is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Conley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Livingston has knee on belly and moves into mount. Conley can't escape the position.
Conley takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Livingston working for a submission but Conley is keeping him at bay. Conley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Livingston on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Livingston lands a heavy elbow. Conley in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Livingston is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Conley to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Conley shrugs it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Livingston jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Conley manages to avoid the submission attempt. Conley gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Livingston raining down hammerfists from mount. Livingston avoids the attempt from Conley to control. Livingston landing strikes, looking to finish! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelo Livingston dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Livingston with a lazy takedown attempt and Conley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Conley misses with a head kick.
Conley throws a leg kick and Livingston counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Livingston. Livingston drops back looking for a leg! Conley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Conley manages to kick Livingston off! Livingston jumps back into Conley's guard. Livingston postures up in Conley's guard and throws a big left but Conley blocks it. Livingston trying to control the position from guard on top but Conley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Conley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Conley tries to get out of the position. Livingston forces his way into half guard. Livingston lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conley wants to get back to full guard. Livingston is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Conley defends it well. Conley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Livingston. Conley is staying active underneath Livingston, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Livingston passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Conley! Conley is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Livingston locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Conley is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marcelo Livingston! A determined Marcelo Livingston didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
